DESCRIPTION:Win Big While Supporting Those Living with Lipedema! – Enter Our 50/50 Raffle Today! \n\n\n\nWe’re thrilled to launch the Lipedema Manitoba Association 50/50 Raffle\, helping us raise vital funds to support those affected by lipedema—a chronic condition that causes painful fat accumulation\, primarily in the legs and arms. Despite affecting millions of women\, lipedema remains widely underdiagnosed and misunderstood. \n\n\n\nLipedema Manitoba Association is the only dedicated organization in Manitoba working to: \n\n\n\n? Advocate for lipedema to be formally recognized within the healthcare system for better diagnosis and treatment. \n\n\n\n? Educate & raise awareness among clinicians\, policymakers\, and the public to improve medical understanding and access to care. \n\n\n\n? Provide community support through compression funding\, inclusive exercise classes\, and local events to help those living with lipedema. \n\n\n\nLipedema Manitoba’s mission is for all Manitobans living with lipedema to receive equitable healthcare.   \n\n\n\nOur goals for 2025 include: \n\n\n\n– a one day educational symposium for clinicians including physicians\, physiotherapists\, massage therapists  \n\n\n\n– a video series on the lived experiences of those living with lipedema \n\n\n\n– more in person & virtual meetups in Winnipeg & Brandon \n\n\n\n– lipedema friendly yoga & aquafit classes \n\n\n\n– educational information distributed to all physicians around Manitoba \n\n\n\n– a Lipedema Awareness Day event \n\n\n\n– a website for Lipedema Manitoba \n\n\n\n– a compression garment-granting program (for those with financial need) \n\n\n\nNow that we’ve received our charitable status\, we’ve been able to apply for grants to cover a lot of our costs but we also need to fundraise to cover general administration costs.  If you choose to donate\, we will issue a charitable tax receipt.  If you want to support us & possibly win some money\, please consider purchasing some 50/50 tickets!  Also\, please share with your friends & family to raise the 50/50 payout!! \n\n\n\nNow\, you can help make a difference—and have a chance to win big! ? \n\n\n\nHow It Works:\n\n\n\n?️ Buy your tickets to enter the raffle.?
